This is a common question. The reality is that this is a very complicated process and unless they specialize in ERC legislation many accountants find it is too complicated and time consuming. Put simply, they could make more money doing the things they specialize in rather than taking excessive amounts of time to grasp the complexities of the ERC legislation and risk making mistakes completing client applications.
